Kind Words

“Megan McGarry is a talented string musician who radiates positivity and light. Do yourself a favor and spend some time with her music.”
- Darol Anger, Recipient of the 2020 International Bluegrass Music Association’s Distinguished Achievement Award

“The brightness comes from more than Megan’s considerable ability as a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. It comes from her heart, her ever present smile, and the twinkle in her eyes. Her happiness is infectious. Her music makes you feel good. Megan truly loves to perform, loves to entertain, and loves being on stage. She will always hold a special place in Smoked Country Jam’s heart."
- Ron Kodish, Co-Founder of Smoked Country Jam Bluegrass Festival

“Our audience enjoys the warmth, laughter and stories that accompany the outstanding musicianship…as we work on our schedule for the next season, we will certainly include Megan McGarry.”
- Kevin Connelli, Director of the Wellsboro Deane Center for Performing Arts

“I attended this class and it was very insightful! I learned a lot and realized, I have so much more to learn! Great Job to Brandon Giuffre for his knowledge and for taking video! Special thanks to CAST - Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre, Inc. for hosting this event. And the biggest thanks to Adam Bell and Megan McGarry for sharing all of their experience, and patience! I truly hope to get a follow up to this class. I was especially touched to see just how many people showed up to the event. I was surprised to find that so many of us local yokels share the same passion in the arts, especially music!”
- Billy Davis, Independent Artist (2025 Tri-County Awards Gold Winner)

“What can I say about a girl who knows her music and is good at teaching it? My daughter will be taking bass and singing lessons off of Megan. Her attention to detail, her kind nature, and her knowledge of the music was evident. On Saturday, Adri took a workshop that was so amazing and she learned  a lot from Megan and her team. They were a great asset to the CAST family. I highly recommend this in the future.”
